Please could you provide me with the following information since the first Covid lockdown. The information I am seeking relates to your policy, procedures and prosecutions.
- Your policies or guidance to officers in respect of lockdowns.
- The evidence required to take action for breach of lockdown whether this be formal advice, ticketing, caution or prosecution.
- The offences committed.
- The number of actions - formal advice, ticketing, caution or prosecution.
- The number of successful prosecutions.
- If this could be made available in some kind of spreadsheet this would be helpful.
- The number of pending prosecutions.
- The number of actions subject to complaint.
- The number of actions the subject of appeal.

Officers were advised to comply with Government guidance and policy under the Coronavirus Act 2020 legislation.
- The evidence required to take action for breach of lockdown whether this be formal advice, ticketing, caution or prosecution.

Although the MPS are involved with the issuing of FPN’s, these tickets are sent to the Criminal Records Office (ACRO) who decide whether fines will actually be issued to the individuals. In addition to this, information in relation to prosecutions, complaints, appeals and outcomes are dealt with by the Courts so you would need to contact them for this information.
