Can you please provide the following information in respect of Police Transferees
1: Any Policy in respect of Home Office and Non-Home Office Transferee criteria; in particular any policy that quotes 'If you have been out of a home office force for longer than 5 years you would need to complete one of the new officer pathways'.
2: Can you please provide contact details (email) for the current Police Officer in charge of recruitment; in particular Police transferees. I believe that this officer is of either Superintendent or Chief Superintendent rank.

Q1 - Any Policy in respect of Home Office and Non-Home Office Transferee criteria; in particular any policy that quotes 'If you have been out of a home office force for longer than 5 years you would need to complete one of the new officer pathways'.
The MPS policy is in line with College of Police guidance in terms of Transferee eligibility criteria. There is no requirement for an officer transferring from a non-PEQF compliant force (i.e. non Home Office) force to obtain a PEQF related qualifications for existing rank if the receiving force is operating in line with PEQF. In other words, if an officer transferred form CNC for example, now that we have IPLDP open, they would have the choice on training route and would not have to go down the PEQF path.
