Domestic Violence Protection Orders/Notices and Breaches of Stalking Protection Orders across the MPS area from 2017 to 2021

I note you seek access to the following information:

1. The number of DVPNs/DVPOs based on flags, but not restraining/non-molestation orders.

2. The number of DVPN breaches and arrests in each of the calendar years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

3. The number of Stalking Protection Orders, as well as the number of breaches and arrests. However, please note these were not introduced until January 2020 and so data prior to this would not exist.

Just to confirm regarding point 1 below:

Please can you give figures for each of the calendar years: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

With reference to Q.1 & 2, please find below an excel spreadsheet with the information requested.

Q1 - The number of DVPNs/DVPOs based on flags, but not restraining/non-molestation orders.
Q2 - The number of DVPN breaches and arrests in each of the calendar years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Please read the ‘Notes Page’ in conjunction with the data in the report to ensure that it is interpreted correctly.

Q3 - The number of Stalking Protection Orders, as well as the number of breaches and arrests. However, please note these were not introduced until January 2020 and so data prior to this would not exist.

Please note that there were 139 full Stalking Protection Orders and 108 interim Stalking Protection Orders. 70 breaches of SPO were reported to the MPS.
