I have today decided to disclose the located information to you.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Part A:
StreetSafe is an anonymous non-crime online reporting tool that communities can use to report where they feel unsafe and why. The tool allows you to drop a pin in a map to indicate an exact location and then select from a range of behavioural and environmental concerns. For example, behavioural concerns include “harassment by a group of people” and environmental concerns include areas being “badly lit”. Members of the public can also submit demographic information, although this is optional. Demographic information indicates which communities are being affected in particular, or conversely, which communities are not reporting enough and where we need to improve our engagement and awareness around StreetSafe. StreetSafe enables police in London to improve their response to Violence Against Women and Girls by analysing data, introducing targeted patrols in areas of concern, working more effectively with partners and engaging with communities.
Streetsafe is a Home Office led Pilot and the information recorded is held by the Home Office. As such the MPS does not hold information pertinent to the street safe initiative.
Part B:
1 - Since March 2020 how many reports of sexual offences have been made within a two-mile period of Clapham Common?
2 - Since March 2020 how many reports of sexual offences have been made in Wandsworth and Lambeth?
