Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

- Between September 2020 and January 2021, how many police constable were retained past their 30 years of service?

Not all officers are on a 30 year term – our data can only provide those who have a length of service longer than 30 years, this doesn’t necessarily mean they have been retained past their term. On average every month in period Sep20-Jan21 we had 142 FTE Police constables with 30 years and over length of service.

- Between September 2020 and January 2021, how many police constables requested an extension of service?

Answer - 31

Between September 2020 and January 2021, how many extensions of police constables were granted?

Answer - The MPS are unable to confirm due to the way it is recorded on PSOP (Police Single Operating Platform).

- Between September 2020 and January 2021, how many police constables transferred into the Met?

Answer - 1 FTE

Between September 2020 and January 2021, how many detective constables requested an extension of service?

Answer - 11

Between September 2020 and January 2021, how many extensions of detective constables were granted?

Answer - The MPS are unable to confirm due to the way it is recorded on PSOP

Between September 2020 and January 2021, how many detective constables transferred into the Met?

Answer - 1 FTE
