Q1 - Which Human Capital Management (HCM) or HR system do you currently use?

The MPS currently outsource its HR services, as part of a wider business process outsourcing contract, to Shared Support Services Connected Limited (SSCL.) As part of the contract SSCL provide Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions to the MPS. The solutions that SSCL provide are:

1. The HR Module as part of the Oracle E-Business Suite.
2. A bespoke Human Resources Candidate Relationship Management solutions called MyHR using open source software and
3. A OTS HR Case Management Solution, which is the online transaction system for human resources case management.

Q - What is the value & expiry date of your current contract/licence? What are the extension options?

HR services are provided as part of the wider Business Support Services Service contract with SSCL which has been extended for an additional three years until 30 Sep 2025. There are no extensions remaining. The total contract value for Business Support Services (HR, Finance and Commercial) provided by SSCL is £428.5m over a 10-year term.

Q - How many HR system users do you have?

We have in the region of 500 HR Professional users accessing the system.

Q2 - Which Payroll systems do you currently use?

The MPS use the Payroll module that is provided as part of the Oracle R12 E-Business Suite.

Q - What is the value & expiry date of your current contract/licence? What are the extension options?

The Oracle R12 E-Business Suite, provided as part of the wider Business Support Services Service contract with SSCL has been extended for an additional three years until 30 Sep 2025. There are no extensions remaining. The total contract value for Business Support Services (HR, Finance and Commercial) provided by SSCL is £428.5m over a 10-year term.
