I note you seek access to the following information:

The number of domestic violence homicides recorded in the Greater London Area for the following periods:

2012/13
2013/14
2014/15
2015/16
2016/17
2017/18
2018/19
2019/20
2020/21
2021/22 to date

If possible, please could this information also be broken down by the gender of the victim (male/ female).

1) Whether any homicides committed in the Greater London Area from 2012-2022 were recorded as 'femicides' and if so:

1a) a breakdown of how many homicides were recorded as such broken down by the following periods:

2013/14
2014/15
2015/16
2016/17
2017/18
2018/19
2019/20
2020/21
2021/22 (to date)

2) whether the MPS has an official definition of 'femicide'
3) if there is any designated task force or personnel assigned to investigating or preventing 'femicide' crimes.
