Crimes committed at pharmacies in 2019 and 2020

I note you seek access to the following information:

I would like to request some information relating to crimes committed at pharmacies in London. Please can you supply the following information:

1) The total number of crimes that occurred at premises registered as a pharmacy (which may be termed as a “chemist” in location codes) between 1 January and 31 December 2019
2) The total number of crimes that occurred at premises registered as a pharmacy (which may be termed as a “chemist” in location codes) between 1 January and 31 December 2020
3) How many assaults or violent crimes including arson were committed at a registered pharmacy between 1 January and 31 December 2019?
4) How many assaults or violent crimes including arson were committed at a registered pharmacy between 1 January and 31 December 2020?
5) Please can you supply details of the incidents described in points 1 and 2, including:
a) If suspects were believed to be armed (and details of suspected weapons, e.g. knife, firearm)
b) whether anyone was hurt
c) the number of people proceeded against in relation to these incidents, and the type of proceeding and outcome that took place (charge, caution, etc).

I would also be interested in any information held by your organisation regarding my request, including a breakdown of the number of different types of crime that occurred at a registered pharmacy between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2020. I understand that I do not have to specify particular files or documents and that it is the department’s responsibility to provide the information that I require.

It should be noted that the data is based on location. Thus, not all the reports will be actual crimes that have been committed against the pharmacy or people within it. It could relate to an incident that happened outside a pharmacy for example.
