Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.22.024767
I note you seek access to the following information:
When an application is made by the MPS to the court, the MPS must outline the intervention that will be attached to the order.
Please can you provide information on what interventions were outlined in all 45 Knife Crime Prevention Orders that were issued since the pilot began.
Can you please also provide information on the interventions which were outlined in the further 29 Knife Crime Prevention Orders that were issued but rejected.
I have today decided to disclose some of the requested information. Some data has been withheld as it is exempt from disclosure and therefore this response serves as a Refusal Notice under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act) by virtue of the following exemptions:
Section 21 – Information reasonably accessible by other means
Reason for decision
Section 21 - information requested has been identified as being accessible via other means - means as it is already published. Where information is already in the public domain we are not required to re-publish the data; instead public authorities are required to direct you to the information, which we have done in this instance.
The MPS previously disclosed orders up until 28/01/2022. Please visit the following link.
Knife Crime Prevention Orders - July 2021 to January 2022
Disclosure
Please see attached document titled ‘KCPO Granted Conditions’ for orders since 29/01/2022.
Also please see attached document titled ‘KCPO Refused Orders Conditions May 2022’. Please note for clarity on the refused orders list, there are only 28 cases. It transpired the 29th case was not actually heard by the court and therefore was not refused as such.
