Regarding Q1 and 2, the drink drive incidents I’m referring to is when a driver has been arrested and found to have a blood alcohol level above the legal limit. I’d like to know the total number. If you were able to offer the type of incident (head on, rear end, pedestrian, and wrong-way wrecks) then it would be appreciated.

For Q5, if you were able to offer the top offences reported, then that would be great.

I am interested in finding out where the most convicted location for drink/drug driving is in the UK, and intend to start with London and its boroughs.

I would like to know:

1. How many drink driving incidents were recorded by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) each year in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021?

2. How many total drink driving incidents were there on each day of the week for 2021?

3. Which 10 London boroughs saw the most drink driving offences in 2021?

4. Which 10 London boroughs saw the least drink driving offences in 2021?

5. What were the three most common reasons for the MPS to pull over a vehicle in 2021?

6. How many drink driving incidents were recorded across the home counties (Surrey, Middlesex, Essex, Kent) in 2020 and 2021?
