Q1 - How many advanced vehicles are there in the MET and how much money has been spent on them?
Amount of advanced vehicles: 1257
Amount spent on them: £52,705,273.67
Q2 - How many unmarked vehicles are there in the MET?
This information is already published on our public fleet list which we post every six months.
Q3 - What different TPAC tactics are used by advanced MET officers?
Information on Police Pursuits can be found by looking at the Pursuits Authorised Professional Practice APP from the College of Policing website
Q4 - Are there any speed limitations for Response licence and advanced licence drivers?
The are no speed limits for Police Driving in the MPS. Police drivers are trained to drive to a safe, systematic and smooth system of car control, and be able to stop in the distance seen to be clear (or half distance on single carriageways).
