1. How many people have been arrested by your police officers for breaches of coronavirus regulations and how many of these resulted in no further action being taken after arrest?
2. How many formal complaints have you received from members of the public in relation to police officers exercising powers under the coronavirus regulations and how many of these have been upheld?

Q1 - How many people have been arrested by your police officers for breaches of coronavirus regulations and how many of these resulted in no further action being taken after arrest?
Please find attached Excel Spreadsheet with the details requested, please note that the next data update will be in September 2022 and there will therefore be no comparable data until September.
Q2 - How many formal complaints have you received from members of the public in relation to police officers exercising powers under the coronavirus regulations and how many of these have been upheld?
• A total of 247 Complaints have been received.
• Please note that the term ‘upheld’ is no longer used in the Complaints legislation. However, of the 247 cases, 15 relate to where an officer was found to have a case to answer for misconduct, or the service provided was found to be unacceptable.
• A further 13 cases are awaiting an outcome.
