CAVEATS
The information provided in this notice should be read alongside the information disclosed under Freedom of Information Act reference number 01/FOI/22/024998.
It should be noted that there were 168 offences recorded within the offence categories of ‘violence without injury’ and ‘violence with injury’ in calendar years 2020 and 2021, where the victim’s occupation was recorded as mini cab driver, private hire operator and/or taxi driver and the ‘occupation relevant to offence’ box was selected. The 168 offences were recorded within 164 crime reports. It should also be noted that a large number of the crime reports did not include details of the company the private hire driver was working for.
