This procurement was competitively tendered using the CompeteFor portal under the title of Supply annual maintenance contract for Mobile Trace in-service which resulted in the ID reference 58979764, and are available on the portal for open source review.

Additionally, when the order was raised on PSOP included the comments,
Competitive tendering addressed following compete for ID-58979764, awarded to manufacturer of the systems and only UK based servicer of them

The contract was for 1 year and placed with the company ‘Rapiscan’, who is the manufacturer of the equipment and the only return to the CompeteFor request. The contract was only offered for a year based on the age of the equipment and the aim to carry out a capability modernisation programme for potential replacements in the near future.
