I note you seek access to the following information:
1. The Number of complaints of illegal hunting of wild animals in the past 2 years (or the most recent 2 years figures are available for).
2. The number of complaints of assault of hunt monitors or saboteurs by hunt followers in the same time period.
3. The number of prosecutions brought for both of the above in the same time period.
On the 7 December 2021 I emailed you, to ask you to clarify the term illegal hunting of wild animals and to seek more clarification in relation to question 2. On the 14 December 2021 you replied with the following ‘With regards to question 1 and 3 please provide any information you can about the illegal hunting with dogs of wild animals such as fox and deer. I am happy to drop question 2 and the part relating to it in question 3 from my request as I understand that it is too difficult and time consuming to try to break down the number of assaults in to the category I am interested in so please proceed without looking into this aspect’. Following this clarification you request was commenced.
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.

The animals hunted can include foxes, deer, badger, hares, rabbits or unknown.
