I note you seek access to the following information:
1. What mandatory training, if any, is provided to Sergeants and Inspectors on promotion, in regard to supporting staff and officers under their command who have mental health difficulties
2. The total Number of cases of UPP for absence that were thrown out at a UPP stage three hearing for failures in procedure at stage 1 and 2 UPP between 1 Jan 2017 to 31 December 2021.
3. If the figures are recorded, the number of these cases that relate to mental health sickness.
4. The number of officers and staff currently shown as long term sick (over 40 continuous work days off sick) due to mental health or a mental disability from 1 Jan 2021 to the current date or last recorded case date. (if the figures cannot be broken down into mental health the number of cases of officers and staff currently off sick due to disability)

Q1 - What mandatory training, if any, is provided to Sergeants and Inspectors on promotion, in regard to supporting staff and officers under their command who have mental health difficulties
At present, there is no mandatory training provided to Sergeants and Inspectors on promotion in regard to supporting staff and officers with mental difficulties under their command.

Q2 - The total Number of cases of UPP for absence that were thrown out at a UPP stage three hearing for failures in procedure at stage 1 and 2 UPP between 1 Jan 2017 to 31 December 2021.
There were none.
2. Q3 - If the figures are recorded, the number of these cases that relate to mental health sickness.
None of these cases relate to Mental Health sickness.
Q4 - The number of officers and staff currently shown as long term sick (over 40 continuous work days off sick) due to mental health or a mental disability from 1 Jan 2021 to the current date or last recorded case date. (if the figures cannot be broken down into mental health the number of cases of officers and staff currently off sick due to disability)
