I note you seek access to the following information:
The following requests relate to the Road Traffic Act 1988 Section 5A (driving, attempting to drive or being in charge of a motor vehicle with a specified controlled drug in the blood or urine in excess of the specified limit for that drug)
I’d like these requests to relate to drivers who are found to have levels of cannabis (THC) above the specified limit.
For each of the following offences, separately, please supply the following data for the periods:

1.The total number of roadside drug tests carried out
2.The total number of positive roadside drugs tests
3.The number of drug driving fatalities (the victim being either a driver, passenger or pedestrian)
4.The length of the average drug stop, from a driver being stopped by an officer in their vehicle to being charged with a drug driving offence
Correspondence to the applicant - Ordinarily we would send a Section 12 cost refusal, but as we are late to respond to you, I am emailing you to let you know what information we are able to extract within the 18 hours.
- The Criminal Justice team would be able to provide drug drive Arrests in the given period by disposal, for the specified period. (Please note that they would not know if there are specifically related cannabis and any other further information without reading each crime).
