Q1 - What medical course do Firearms Medics do within the Met Police.
MPS firearms medics complete a Firearms Medics course the content of which comes from module D13.2 of the National Police Firearms Training Curriculum.
Q2 - Can Firearms medics give any forms of pain relief if so what can they give (is it like within Kent police they can give entonox
MPS Firearms Medics do not carry and cannot administer pain relief. The position and clinical governance is different from force to force.
