Your new anti-corruption and abuse hotline will be run by Crimestoppers:

'Contact the Hotline on 0800 085 0000 or online to provide information you have about a Metropolitan Police Service police officer or member of police staff who:

Provides information or influence in return for money or favours.
Uses their policing position for personal advantage - whether financial or otherwise.
Crosses professional boundaries for sexual purposes.
Abuses or controls their partner, or those they have a relationship with.
Engages in racist, homophobic or misogynystic conduct, on or off duty, in person or online.'

1. Please provide the amount of the funding you have provided to Crimestoppers to provide this service and also the period of the funding.

2. Please provide details of any statistics you plan to publish regarding the operation of the new hotline.

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.

Q1 - Please provide the amount of the funding you have provided to Crimestoppers to provide this service and also the period of the funding.

Answer: The overall contract value with Crimestoppers for the Metropolitan Police Anti-Corruption and Abuse Line is £77,200. The contract period is 12 months.

Q2 - Please provide details of any statistics you plan to publish regarding the operation of the new hotline.

Answer: As of the 23 December 2022, it has not been confirmed what data will be published or the timescale for any publication of statistics in relation to the new Metropolitan Police Anti-Corruption and Abuse Line.
