Please can I revise my request as you suggest. So, please can you provide:

How many compensation pay-outs were made to employees in each of the previous financial years a) 2017/18 b) 2018/19 c) 2019/20 d) 2020/21 e) 2021/22 for accident at work claims

For each of the above financial years, please provide a total figure for the cost of these pay-outs.

1. How many compensation pay-outs were made to a) police officers and b) civilian staff in each of the previous financial years a) 2017/18 b) 2018/19 c) 2019/20 d) 2020/21 e) 2021/22 for accident at work claims
2. For each of the above financial years, please provide a total figure for the cost of these pay-outs.
3. Please provide a breakdown for each pay-outs, giving a brief summary of the accident, how much money was paid in compensation and in the case of police officers, what the rank of the officer was.

Please find below information pursuant to your request above.

Any accident at work claims would be registered as Employers Liability cases on the DLS Case Management System. These claims are handled by both Insurance & Claims Services and ourselves. DLS can provide global figures for the number of new Employers Liability claims registered on the DLS case management system in each of the financial years requested. DLS can also provide the number of settlement payments and amount paid in each of the financial years requested. (These figures include claims dealt with by DLS and Insurance & Claims)
