Pension buy back from maternity leave

I note you seek access to the following information:

I am aware that in order to buy back your pension from your maternity leave you must make a request within 3 months of returning to work.

I would like to request information on the number of officers who have been allowed to "buy back" their pension from maternity leave outside this 3 month period since 2019.

If available I would also like to know how many officers chose to buy back their pensions from maternity leave each year since 2019.

253 officers have been given the option to buy back maternity leave outside the 3 month period since 2019, as instructed by the MPS.

28 members have taken up the option and have been processed through payroll.
