Freedom of information request reference no: 01.FOI.22.023629
I note you seek access to the following information:
1. Does the Metropolitan Police intend to use SmartWater at any of their constabularies or in any of their vehicles that are leased to them?
2 .If so, when did this policy begin?
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
The Met Police worked with SmartWater as part of a burglary reduction program across London.
This would involve both officers and police staff visiting selected members of the community (based on crime predictions) and offering crime prevention advice along with SmartWater property marking solution.
There is no policy regarding the use of SmartWater within police stations or vehicles.
