I note you seek access to the following information:

2. Will all involved staff and officers be instructed to be off duty?
3. How much of your force budget is allocated to LGBT network Pride activities or overtime related to Pride this financial year?
4. What other events regarding the other seven protected characteristics are being attended by officers?
I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.
Please find below information pursuant to your request above.
Q1 - Are your force, or any force LGBT association, taking part in any Pride events in 2022?
The MPS has not yet confirmed participation in any Pride events for 2022 as these decisions have not yet been made.
Q2 - Will all involved staff and officers be instructed to be off duty?
As above – no decisions have been made yet.
Q3 - How much of your force budget is allocated to LGBT network Pride activities or overtime related to Pride this financial year?
There is no specific budget for LGBT Network Pride activities.
Q4 - What other events regarding the other seven protected characteristics are being attended by officers?
The MPS attends and polices a wide range of community events every year covering many protected characteristic communities such as faith/belief, race and age. There is no central record that would answer your question as “events” is a very broad term that covers everything from local community events which would be attended by our Safer Neighbourhood Teams (of which there are over 600 alone) right up to major events such as Notting Hill Carnival.
