I note you seek access to the following information:

1. In the year 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020 as well as the year 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2021, how many video or photo submissions of motoring incidents were made to the force by members of the public?
2. In the same two-year period, how many prosecutions were made by your force for drivers using their mobile phone whilst driving/behind the wheel?
3. In the same two-year period, how many prosecutions or fines have been made for driving offences resulting from motorists filming their own driving and posting the footage to social media?

With regards to Q2 and Q3 - The information you have requested is not held by the MPS.

Please note that the police service is responsible for the investigation of offences however the subsequent prosecution - and potentially a conviction - would be a matter for the Crown Prosecution Service.

These offence types are not recorded on CRIS (Crime Reporting Information System). We have provided you with arrests by disposals, instead of the convictions as requested. Please see ‘DISCLOSURE’ below.
In addition, please see the table below for the total number of Traffic Offence Reports (TOR’s) issued for the offence of using a mobile phone device whilst driving; and whilst supervising a learned driver for 1st January 2020 to 31st December 2021 period.
