Q2 - Details of any operations specifically targeting e-scooter use in 2021.
In June 2021 the Roads and Transport Policing Command ran a week of targeted activity relating to e-scooters. This coincided with the launch of the rental trial, a scheme aimed at using e-scooters legally, and was aimed to reiterate to the general public that the launch of the trial was not a relaxation of the rules regarding private scooter use.
