We all eventually take off the uniform but are forever united by our service. Your heroism is a shining example of all that our police service holds dear and is something of which your family should be very proud. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and all who knew you. Rest in peace.

My deepest,  heartfelt sympathies to PC Palmer's family, friends and colleagues, and to the wider Police family which has lost one of its own. Comfort one another and be strong for each other. The country grieves with you at this profoundly sad time.

The courage and dedication of PC Palmer shown in the service of our wonderful capital city and country should give all of us the fortitude to resist hate in all its ugly forms. Thank you PC Palmer. Thank you to the thin blue line.

It is hard to think of anything original to say about this dreadful business. Please tell PC Palmer's family that I am thinking of them, and also all of his past and present colleagues in the Metropolitan Police and the army. Thanks to the efforts of PC Palmer, my dad and his fellow parliamentarians were protected from the actions of this crazed individual. My heart goes out to all those who knew him and were close to him.

"You are not alone in this, you are amongst many caring hearts". Sending our heartfelt condolences to our colleagues in London.

Our thoughts go out to all the family and friends of Keith Palmer. A very sad day indeed, he has paid a heavy price for his country but will never be forgotten. RIP Keith.

My deepest sympathy to Keith Palmers family, my heart goes out to them. His bravery in the line of duty was second to none. A massive thank you to the met & every police force in Britain for helping to keep us all safe. For one act of evil there are 100s of kind acts. We will not let them win.

Many people have observed that the police and emergency services ran towards the incident and not away. We are all conditioned to expect that as part of the decency and the bravery of our services which despite all the pressures remain largely unarmed. But to have done what he did requires courage and bravery far more than many of us will ever show. And yet if people like Keith did not form the backbone of the police service we would all be immeasurably the poorer.

My condolences to PC Palmer's family and colleagues. Gratitude to him and members of the police force who do their best to keep us all safe.

Thank you for keeping my family safe,  and our government safe,  and our country safe. To you and all your colleagues.
