Salary: £26,037 to £28,936 with an additional 12.5% shift disturbance allowance plus £3,216 location allowance. You will receive £26,037 the band minimum. Progress to the band maximum of £28,936 will be via incremental progression.

As an Intelligence Analyst within the National Digital Exploitation Service, you'll use a variety of sophisticated specialist software and hardware to analyse vital data. In fact, your work could be critical in providing new leads for investigators. It's all about supporting high-profile investigations, as well as producing coherent intelligence analysis and products that will inform tactical and strategic decisions. You'll also get the opportunity to be creative - implementing innovations to solve problems in an ever-evolving digital landscape with a wide range of new and challenging data.
Importantly, you'll come to us with the knowledge to make an immediate impact. You may have picked this up as an analyst in a tactical or strategic role, or have experience within cyber crime and fraud, data mining, meta data analysis, open source data analysis (including "Dark Web") or the exploitation of communications data and associated technologies. Alternatively, you may be an exceptional candidate with, or studying towards, an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in terrorism, data analysis, cyber security or an associated discipline.
Whatever your background, it's essential you're an excellent influencer, able to effectively negotiate, present and solve complex problems. You'll also have a detailed knowledge and experience of working with the full Microsoft Office suite.
