Put insight at the heart of our digital transformation
The Met is creating digital services for the 21st century. They include a brand new website and digitised customer services. To ensure these changes and platforms are as effective as possible, we need to make sure they are accessible and relevant to those who use them. Join us, and you can drive its development.
The first step is to understand what our users and customers need from our digital channels. These include our website, intranet, social platforms, electronic newsletters and video/audio products. You’ll carry out robust research and analysis, and use the results to guide digital development. Your analysis will be particularly important for website improvement.
You’ll be joining us at a time of significant transition, as we transform the way we serve some eight million people. You therefore need solid experience in a similar role. You should have worked with standard HCI methodologies, carried out UX work and explored user journeys and SEO. On the way, you’ll have honed your knowledge of web technologies including HTML/CSS, content management systems and web design principles. And naturally, you’ll have a firm grasp of qualitative analysis techniques and Google Analytics.
With this technical expertise, you can identify what works and what doesn’t. And you’ll be able to explain this to digital product managers and senior management. Creative, flexible and always on top of new trends, you’ll be a key part of an exceptional digital development team.
