Reporting a change in circumstances or new visa

If you need to report a change in your work address (same company but different location), you should do this via your online account within eight days of the change.  

You don't need to attend an appointment at the Overseas Visitors Records Office (OVRO). 

Please note: If you've been granted a new visa on the basis of a new or existing employer then you'll need to update your account with the new visa details as well as employer details, and also book an appointment to attend the (OVRO). 

Please bring with you: 

• your police registration certificate (PRC)
• your biometric residence permit (BRP) with UKVI/Home Office approval letter or email
• your passport
• your employment contract or letter from employer detailing the job role and full work address.

If you live and are registered with another police force outside of the London or City of London area but work in the London or City of London area, you must report to the police force you live in and not the police force covering were you work if this happens to be in London.
