Find out below which changes should be reported, how soon to report them, and who to report them to.
I'd like to report a change to my new or extended visa
You'll need to update your account to report the change within seven days of arrival to the UK if your visa was obtained overseas or within seven days of your visa being granted in the UK.
You can book an appointment through your online account to attend the Overseas Visitors Records Office (OVRO).
Please ensure you have received your biometric residence permit (BRP) before your appointment date as you will need this when you attend the OVRO, and bring the following:
police registration certificate (PRC)
biometric residence permit (BRP) with UKVI/Home Office approval letter or email
Proof of work or study details if your visa has been granted on the basis of a an change of employer or place of study.
If you live and are registered with another police force outside of the London or City of London area and need to report a new or extended visa, you must report to the police force you currently live in and not the police force covering the area you work or study if this happens to be in London.
