Met Film Unit fees
As the Met is an operational police service we arrange support for filming outside our core policing duty, which is why we charge for the service. Below is a general price guide. We’ll produce a more detailed quote once you’ve been in touch and we’ve had a chance to assess the nature and complexity of your shoot.
Providing Met vehicles
We can provide a range of vehicles to support your shoot.
Met motorcycles
In addition to the fees below, you'll need a Met rider for each motorcycle at an hourly rate of £28.04.

Met officers and staff
We expect organisations that use police resources to provide refreshments and reasonable accommodation where appropriate.

Met animals
In addition to the fees below, you'll need a Met horse rider or dog handler for each animal at an hourly rate to be discussed. We may also include a fee for conveyance and other expenses.

Cancellation
If you need to cancel the event, please give at least ten days’ notice, otherwise we'll charge the full amount for the Met services we'd agreed on.
Likewise, if filming be abandoned or finish early, we'll still charge for the total number of days or hours agreed.
