Decade of robberies comes to end for armed robber

Unidentified Male featured on Scotland
Yard’s Wanted Internet Site identified as Daniel Holland was
arrested by officers from Barnes Flying Squad assisted by
Thames Valley Police and Hertfordshire Constabulary.
Between 1994 – 2004, Daniel Holland committed
numerous armed robberies predominantly across London, but
also in Hertfordshire, Surrey, Thames Valley, Hampshire and
Essex. He pleaded guilty to nine armed robberies with a further
30 offences of armed robbery to be taken into consideration.
On Monday 28th February 2005 Daniel Holland appeared at Kingston
Crown Court and received a life sentence.

Scotland Yards Internet ‘wanted’ site trapped man previously jailed
for art theft.
Peter Joseph Bellwood, 52 years, a landscape gardener from Colchester
admitted using a knife to remove irreplaceable maps during six visits
to the National Library of Wales over 6 months in 2000 which made
him £70,000.
On Thursday 23rd December 2004 Peter Bellwood was sentenced to 4
and a half years imprisonment for stealing rare maps at Swansea
Crown Court.
Murderer shown on Scotland Yard’s Wanted internet site captured

Palwinder Singh Dhillon was arrested on 26/08/03 for the murder
of Anita Gindha in Manor Park E12.
On 21/05/04 Palwinder Singh Dillon was found guilty at the Central
Criminal Court of murder. He was sentenced to life imprisonment
with a minimum tariff of 16 years.

Man placed on Scotland Yard’s wanted internet site by detectives
from Bethnall Green was arrested.
Jacob Marks was wanted by Police for a serious assault. He was
arrested in 2003 and subsequently went on trial at Southwark Crown
Court. On 22nd January 2004 he received 8 years imprisonment for
the assault.
