Safer Transport Command
Safer Transport Teams
There are 32 Safer Transport Teams dedicated to policing each of London's boroughs providing a highly visible policing presence tackling crime on the transport network and engaging with the travelling public. The teams patrol on buses and at transport interchange points eg bus stations within their borough focusing on local problems. The teams also patrol on London’s roads to tackle issues such as cycle theft, responding to road traffic incidents and the safe movement of traffic.
Each team works to three policing priorities which have been identified through input from the travelling public and transport staff.
If you have any concerns around crime and anti-social behaviour on public transport in your areas, contact your local Safer Transport Team.
