118 Car Hire

The Metropolitan Police Service is investigating 118carhire in relation to fraud.

If anyone believes that they are a victim - i.e. anyone who has paid for a vehicle that has not been delivered or who has had more money taken from their account than expected - then they should report the matter to Action Fraud via the internet at www.actionfraud.org.uk or telephone number 0300 123 2040.

DS Jim Aspinall from the Met's Economic and Specialist Crime Command said: "Remember; if an offer looks too good to be true then it probably is. Always check as far as possible the legitimacy of a company that you are paying."
