Organising a promotion or event

Promotions and events

Officers from the Met's Clubs Focus Desk are able to support your event or promotion by risk assessing it. The purpose of this is to enable us to give you appropriate advice to ensure your event is safe. This process is entirely voluntary, except in cases where a local council has made it a condition of your licence.

To carry out this assessment, we require certain information about the event from you. Please send the completed form 696, at least 14 days in advance of the event, to Clubsfocusdesk-co14@met.police.uk and to your local Borough Police Licensing Unit.
