Directorate of Information

The Directorate of Information (DoI) - provides information, communications and technology (ICT) services to the Metropolitan Police Service. Miss Ailsa Beaton, MPS Director of Information and Chief Information Officer, heads the DoI.

The Directorate is also responsible for the strategic development of the role of information, communications and technology (ICT) within policing in London.

ICT is fundamental to modern policing, and the DoI develops and delivers policies, processes, tools and services to help MPS staff manage, communicate and use information and technology effectively.
