Olympics 2012 Collections
Olympics 23rd July - 13th August 2012
All Street Collection application requests for the Olympic zones between the 1st - 13th August 2012 will have to go through a 2 tier level of approval process, first from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), and then from the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA). This is to ensure that a Street Collection does not clash with an Olympic event within the Olympic zone.
The London Boroughs effected for secondary authorisation are as follows:
Brent, Greenwich, Hackney, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Merton, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Wandsworth and Westminster.
Paralympics Games 28th August - 9th September 2012
All Street Collection application requests for the Olympic zones between the 28th August - 8th September (Local Appeals period) will also have to go through a 2 tier level of approval process, first from the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), and then from the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA). This is to ensure that a street collection does not clash with an Olympic event within the Olympic zone.
The London Boroughs effected for secondary authorisation are as follows:
Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and Westminster
First level approval can be obtained from Metropolitan Police Service by forwarding your application form via post to:
