ON Sunday 15 January, Redbridge and Westminster Police Cadets attended the London Taxi Mad Hatters Tea Party. Over 600 children with special needs and other disadvantages poured through the doors of the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane and enjoyed a magical afternoon filled with fun, joviality and laughter.
The cadets helped where necessary and assisted the organisers in stewarding the event. The generosity, passion and enthusiasm of everyone present, be it celebrity, entertainer, donor or helper, ensured that the party was the great success it was.

Redbridge Coordinator PC Amanda Miller said 'The cadets did the Metropolitan Police Service proud with their professionalism and performance at this event. Well done to all.'

Redbridge Cadet Oliver Bryce said 'The Black Cab do is an amazing event that provides underprivileged children a chance to enjoy themselves. Every year the atmosphere is fantastic and it is strongly supported by many different celebrities. I'm definitely planning on helping again next year.'
