Kingston cadets meet the Commissioner

Chief Superintendent Chirs Bourlet presenting the award to Cadet Paul Contento

At the recent Met Police Carol service at All Souls church, Langham Place, four Kingston Cadets were welcoming guests and stewarding along side colleagues from the Christian Police Association. Robin Oake , former Chief Constable of Isle of Man Constabulary and Deputy Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police, whose son Stephen a Special Branch Constable was killed during a terrorist arrest in 2003 , spoke on the Christmas message and that 'Nothing is Impossible for God'.

After the event the Cadets helped to serve mince pies to guests that included the Commissioner, Bernard Hogan-Howe, who gathered the four cadets together for a chat and a quick photo.

Dept Head Cadet Dafydd Wilson said "It had been a nice event where we had been warmly welcomed by officers and staff. We were delighted to find ourselves talking to the Commissioner who asked us about Cadets, our future plans to join the police and how we were doing at school at the moment."
