The Cadets - aged between 14 and 19 - supported police officers at the Notting Hill carnival, assisting with stewarding the carnival route and engaging with the public in attendance on Saturday, before helping out at the Cudham Village fete in Bromley on Sunday, where they assisted with stewarding the 2000 visitors to the fete and met local dignitaries.

Bromley resident - and MPS DCI - Jane Corrigan said: "The Cadets attendance was really noticed and we received nothing but positive feedback from those who attended the fete, many commenting on how nice it was to see young people taking a keen interest in their community. They are a credit to the MPS".
